To avoid FTP upload sercurity + disk allowance you may consider: "use cases" + "database string search". Think of steps as a guest user to upload songs to your site. You may simply let them add songs in a specific format (Artist - song name) and hit upload button. Then you may check via 2 search procedure - one with Artisit name and then with at least 2 words from song name to check against your database of songs to avoid dupplicate. At this point you may also check for virus attachment with the song one wants to upload. I know you are very expert on these but just thought it might help you organize things. Apologize if I am going too much beyond. Good works. I really appreciate.
