Just an update after a long while. I have been very busy with my research for last few months and it will continue to be so for another 4 weeks. There are over 200 emails and song requests that I have received from various people, but did not manage to reply. Those who have thanked me for hosting all the songs, you are welcome and thank you for your well wishes. Those who have requested various songs, please check the Complete Mp3 List, if the song you are after is not there, then I don't have it. My next trip to Dhaka is scheduled for December when I intend to upload another 50+ albums and will try to include the requested songs.
Got back from Dhaka this week and managed to get 83 new bangla albums. Each album is ripped at 320kbps. Which means a standard 4 minute song is roughly 8MB in size (instead of 4MB @ 128kbps), but you get the best possible quality. You can either download it from the "Download" section or the "Complete MP3 List" page (I just updated the list). I received a number of requests for old film songs, classics, baul, Rabindra and Nazrul Sangeets. I tried my best to get most of the requested songs but still didn't manage to get all that were requested. May be in my next trip to Dhaka in December. Until then enjoy the new collection.
