OMNet++ Print
Written by Shaniur T I M Nabi
Tuesday, 27 September 2005
For last one week I have been working on OMNet++, a network simulation tool. It took me over 3 days just to get the first basic tutorial to compile. There were some compilation errors which needed a simple fix, but because of lack of documentation I had to waste 3 days. The problems I was facing were asked by others in the OMNet++  forum but no one replied. So I have decided to document every possible error, glitch that I come across and provide the solutions to them. As for next couple of years I'll have to live with it, might as well contribute to it and save others some valuable time.

If you are working on OMNet++, and have found solutions to certain problems, feel free to share (use contact page).

Good use of old CDs Print
Written by Shaniur T I M Nabi

Over the weekend I decided to burn important stuff to DVDs and dump the old CDs. Only managed to sort out half of the CDs. That is approximately 80 CDs.

Instead of throwing them into the recycle bin, I decided to stick them on my living room wall. Initially I thought all those CDs will be enough to cover atleast half of the wall. Just managed to cover a quarter of it and now looks like I'll have to scavenge for old CDs. So if you have any spare CDs, instead of dumping them, let me know and I'll be happy to get them off you. Planning to cover all 4 walls (ceiling if possible) and looks like I'll need around 1000 CDs.

This is what the wall looks like after sticking approximately 80 CDs...
