The World Cup is over, fever is off...

Had a pretty good run of watching the matches. Grew up watching the wonders of Maradona, only to become a die hard Argentina fan. This world cup was no different, but I had another team to back for, Australia (Socceroos). The first match against Japan was a sweet treat. For me it was the most exciting match. 3 goals in 8 minutes to snatch the game away from the Japs after that dubious goal was awesome!

As for Argetina's loss to Germany, those idiots deserved it. Very dissapointed. They were the classic example of how a team with 11 fantastic players can lose a game because of sheer stupidity. Worst bit of the WC: Italy winning with last minute penalty against Australia. Someone should send them an Oscar along with the Cup.
